time for the ship work up

well it's that time to leave again after only being home for about 4 weeks time to go again for a work up on the USS John C Stennis it is a big aircraft carrier alot of things can go wrong on the flight deck makes me a little nervous but i will just have to keep my head on a swivel and watch out for all the many things that can go wrong we'll be gone about 6 weeks the last workup we have to do before cruise heard it's gonna be a long one around 7 months and possible be home for 3 or so weeks and go back out for a 4 month surge so that means i'll be gone for about 11 months in the year 2009 this is getting to be quite a commitment i'm glad my wife loves me it'll make things a lot easier and so much sweeter to come home when i can lay a big kiss on her and say i've missed you so i'm glad to be home back with you again finally and i won't have to leave you again can't wait for that day only yr and 2 months after the surge i'll have less then a month of service left can't wait counting the days

it's been a while

Well there are a lot of changes going on right now and its been a while since i have had time to sit down and write a new blog on here. Some of the changes right now is that I've made E-4 at my job in the military. My title now is "aviation machinist mate 3rd class petty officer of the united states navy" Or AD3 to shorten it up a bit. Some other changes are that we are moving from San Diego to north of LA to Ventura county. I have new orders to report to VAW-112 by July11 " the Golden Hawks" so will no longer be a scorpion at HSL-49 as of June 16 . With having to move a long distance there is always the trouble of finding time to go there and look for a place. while getting all other business in order. Like getting all my transfer paperwork and physicals done when they are overbooked and you have a hard time getting a appointment to see them to get it done. Then my youngest brother is also getting married during this hectic time so i have to go home to see him tie the knot, as if things weren't busy enough. I'll try to do better on keeping this thing up see ya soon
